That's a long way down for the littlest kindergartner as she disembarks to head for her class. And a few hours later, they're home!
Awww, thanks Sissy!
Home safe and sound! Well, we made it. Looks like Meg loved school and it looks like Mrs. Duncan will even return tomorrow. I believe I only signed up for one volunteer duty but can't remember for sure with all the excitment of the moment. Hope it was only baking cookies and not PTA chairman or anything. Jill took me out for a pedicure and lunch and got me some wonderful treats...a new makeup package I can hardly wait to try. I hope the rest of the year goes as well for all of us as this first day proved to be.
Tomorrow: Nick starts Middle School. He has to get up awfully early to catch his bus. This is a boy who appreciates his sleep. I'm happy for him that he will have lots of sports activities and his world has just grown substantially. Our family is really excited for our kids in this next chapter of their lives and hope they enjoy their experiences and take advantage of every opportunity to prepare themselves for wonderful futures. And of course, keep the rest of us from having to visit the principal's office very often.

Great pictures! Megan such a good big sister... Would Chris have helped Jill off at that age or jut let her fall? :o)
And the picture of Miranda getting off the bus to go to class: Did she ride the bus and you meet her at the school to get that picture, or did you need to go for 'other things'?
Holy crud, I need to proof read before I post! Sorry for the typo's! Let's blame it on the 'Kumquat'... previously known as the blueberry.
Typos don't bother me...I quit being perfect a month or so ago because it was too much stress.
We followed the bus but it had a few more stops to do, so we actually were waiting when it arrived. Just for pictures, of course... :-)
Oh, and to answer your question: Chris probably would have pushed Jill. But Jill would have deserved it.
Gram is right.
