And now it's complete...

Like any 6th grade boy, Nick was absolutely thrilled to get up at 6:00 a.m. and be ready to catch the bus to school before 7:00. NOT! But he did it! Gram hopes it will get easier as he gets used to the insanely-early hour and finds some friends and activities he's excited about.

So now we have them all into a new phase of their lives. I'm on my knees praying that they have a strong enough base to stand up to the trials they may face in the future. I'm excited and optimistic about his sports interest and talent. Nick's a great kid who totally owns his Gram's heart.

hopefully it will be the last bus day where he is tormented by his crazy parents.

I am really hoping he locates some kids in the neighborhood to play with.

It's very weird not thinking about picking him up from school. This is the first day ever that we haven't picked him up.

Should I go up hover at the bus stop???

Nick's such a good kid - and he's so stinkin' cute! He'll be great - I'll beat him if not :o)

Dad you might want to take advantage of the first day hovering opportunities, it'll be so "embarassing" soon!

Well... the rust kids rarely get a ride in the car to school. I tell them if they miss the bus they are walking! Grin
Of course I'm not serious but they beleive me and haven't missed the bus yet!
