Well, we did it! Five hours at the mall! I haven't done that in decades. The girls were well-behaved and stayed with me all the time...I didn't have to panic once. Miranda marched around the entire place without complaining or asking me to hold her, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg, either, except for lunch at Rainforest Cafe, and I said "No" to the flashing drink cups. I'm tough. :-) The only problem didn't happen until we were getting back into the car for the ride home and the big girls skirmished about the very-important decision of who got to sit in the front seat.Today is meet the teacher day at their new school. That's going to be pretty fun. Miranda has already mentioned that she doesn't want to go to school. Has anyone ever gotten kicked out of kindergarten?
Ew, tonight's the big night in Denver! The excitement is just fairly hanging in the air! I'm all a'shiver! Do ya think the crowd will wave palm leaves?

Abraham Lincoln, a man of many flaws as well, is surely smiling in heaven today.
If Abe Lincoln is up there, I'm sure he's far too occupied with worshipping the real Lord to notice our foolishness on earth.
