Rainy day surprise

It was a boring, rainy day today when the doorbell rang. There was a cop standing on my porch! And I was actually happy to see him! Haha! Actually, he wasn't in uniform...it was Ben in street clothes, offering to fix my patio umbrella that had blown over in the wind storm the other night and broken a rib.

That umbrella was a mangled mess! I just assumed I would have to spend $100 or so to buy a new one! Never even occurred to me it could be fixed. I don't know how he did it, particularly out there in the rain, but it's all fixed good as new. You see how blessed I am?
