Good weekend ahead

We have out of town family coming for a quick visit this weekend. Can't wait to see them! Looks like the weather may even be kinda nice. Sure hope so, as we are planning a get-together with Warren's whole family...sort of a mini-reunion. Wish I could cook good like I used to do.

Have you ever noticed that, for most of us, life consists of adjusting and rearranging our situation, constantly tweaking our environment to be what we think will make us happier or more comfortable? Mine lately has mostly been just trying to get it to stay the same, and it certainly never does that. What an impossible task! Owning a house...one thing breaks, you fix or replace it and two more things happen. Kids grow and need more clothes and get bored with the video game they just HAD to have a month ago. Life is fluid, ever changing. I've sure taken some hits in this past year. So many people are dying. After all that has happened, my perspective has really changed. I feel so mortal and my priorities have changed a lot.

Sure am happy about finally being baptized. I have had praise songs running around in my head ever since! :-)
