ST. PAUL - St. Paul police followed a trail of Cheetos in order to nab three teenagers suspected of burglarizing a vending machine. Officers were called to the Arlington Recreation Center on July 29, where they found a vending machine's glass had been broken with a chair. Most of the candy and chips were missing, according to a criminal complaint in Ramsey County District Court. The officers followed the orange, dusty trail from the rec center, around the side of the building and to a nearby home. Inside, they found numerous vending-sized bags of Cheetos and other snacks.
Normal week; kids & swimming. Having a lot of trouble with my poor swollen feet. I poopoo'd the idea that flip flops are bad for your feet...especially since I've been wearing them and loving them for years. But I bet that's what has caused me to be in pain 24/7. Am thinking I might have to go back for cortesone shots. Ratz. Miranda had some bites on her legs when I got her this morning. I asked her what they were. She said, "I have fleas". I had to choke back the laughter once again. I swear, I'm having to force myself to take her serious...she's so dang cute and funny, too. But she gets offended if I laugh at her, so I have to be kinda careful not to hurt her feelings. You know, there are a lot worse things than sitting by the lake in a swing, in the shade, watching kids swim all afternoon. I take my books down with me but never get a chance to read. Have to keep my eyes on the kids so I can nag at them and try to take away all their fun. We had another "spider in the paddleboat" incident this afternoon, this time with the boys. It was as big as a volleyball...REALLY! T Temperature is nice for swimming and being outdoors, but today it got muggy! I couldn't believe it actually was humid enough to make us sticky. Yuck. I was almost tempted to go into the water, too, but good sense won out.
I swear I was not involved with this. I've never even been in St. Paul.
