Movie

I almost never watch movies but tonight I was surfing channels and ran across a movie I felt compelled to watch. I had even seen it before, but for some reason felt I just had to do it. It was "The Notebook". If you've recently lost your husband of 45 years or so, this isn't a great movie choice. I sobbed all the way through it. How can a person feel blessed and robbed at the same time? Now I'm really sad and feel like I have to start from scratch climbing that mountain again.

I cried at church today also, but that's nothing new...I usually cry at church. It was actually thinking about Uncle Fred, knowing he's in Heaven, that got me started. Warren always liked and respected him. Maybe they are hanging out together now.

This afternoon the weather was warm (60-ish) and dry and I heard my north-side neighbor's leaf blower, so I decided that was a good idea. I started doing my yard just as he was finishing up. When I finished an hour later, the guy to my south side revved up his blower. Together, we blew leaves all afternoon. Hmmm, I wonder if we were blowing the same leaves, one yard to the next!

One day Warren and I set the camera up on a tripod and took pictures of ourselves after church. We were trying not to laugh in this photo.

I wish I would have gotten to kiss him goodbye.

That day was fun. I kept telling him to be serious cause we needed a decent photo (since we were all dressed up) and he kept doing goofy things instead. I'd crack up as always.

GREAT picture!

btw, I love todays poll. make sure you show Chris how well gravy is doing. She has some weird internal voice that seems to tell her two potatoes and a measured cup of gravy is enough for a group of 12

Check out A Walk to Remember also, it's by the same author as The Notebook. It's one of my top 10 faves. Bring your tissue box with you!
