Full Tummy

Thanksgiving Day started off for me by checking my email and answering my phone...Alerts from my credit card! Somebody has hacked into my account and has been charging. They got suspicious when there were charges from Germany, Australia, and somewhere else I can't remember. I don't normally charge things overseas. I called the number and believe it has gotten all squared away. They closed that account immediately.

That set back the cooking about an hour, but I still got everything prepared and went to a very nice afternoon at Jill's. We saw old friends and family and it was comfortable and happy. Only Christina was brave (and young) enough to have planned to go shopping at midnight. The rest of us decided there was no way...I personally wouldn't care if they were giving things away for free, there's no way I would join in the mayhem.

My ridiculous memory is starting to mess up things. They don't pick up garbage on holidays, and get it the next day. But I forgot to put it out today. By the time I heard the truck and got downstairs to wheel the trash can out to the curb, they were four houses past mine. So now I have to keep it for yet another week. Hope the raccoons don't notice.
