Birthday party for Christopher

I went to Phil & Sue's grandson's birthday party today. He is the cutest little guy! Well, you should see his beautiful parents. It was tons of fun and I got to visit with some friends I haven't seen for awhile. We laughed ourselves silly with each other and little Christopher was adorable...a perfect little one-year-old. He opened his first gift and didn't care to go any further...we couldn't tear him away from that truck to get him interested in anything else! Toooo cute.

Afterwards, I went and got Jerry and took him out for margueritas. That was nice. Good to get some visit time in. I offered to take him to the Grape Adventure, but when he asked if they had Boone's Farm, I decided he might not appreciate the Grape.

So it's daylight savings Fall Back night. I did all my clocks except the one in the car. Christina is going to have to do that for me, I guess. Either that or I'll actually have to drag out the instruction manual.

What I'm REALLY tickled with is that I changed my smoke alarm batteries. I did the one downstairs last week and felt confident I could do it upstairs this week. Which I did. However, now that I've finished that chore upstairs, SOMETHING IS BEEPING at me downstairs! There are three things on the ceiling down there. I can't tell which one is the beeper!

So I just decided, "Tough", and came up here. But now the beeping is really loud...I can't tell where it's coming from at all! It might be coming from up here! I wonder if I did something wrong. Or if this house is haunted. I probably put the batteries in upside down or put a dead one in or something. Well, it's too stressful. I'm going to just ignore it.
