First of all, when Megan and I opened the front door to go wait for the bus, it was just driving away. When that happens, we just have to wait for it to circle the lake, but the bus driver glares at us. Plus it will probably cost a nice bus driver gift for Christmas. Then Miranda...omg, she is the funnest and funniest 5 year old in the world. I'll just hint at what happened, so as not to embarrass her in later years. Do y'all know what PixO's are? Well just imagine what would happen if an anonymous kindergartner just happened to mysteriously get a little pea-sized plastic ball up their nose. Now, mind you, I'm not saying that's what happened. This is just "what if".
If that DID happen, Gram would have to call upon her ancient history to remember what she did when this little person's mother might have done the same thing, only with a rock, when she was three. If such a thing would have happened, that ancient solution probably would have been a lightning-fast lesson on how to blow only one side of your nose, and everything would have been okay afterwards. But of course, that's just hypothetical and probably would NEVER happen to anyone around here.
Then my mom called, at the end of her rope about her current haircut. I know how that goes...a bad hairdo can ruin your life. I'd rather be 30 lbs overweight than have a bad haircut. Hmmm, come to think of it...nevermind. Just shut up. Anyway, I called my hairdresser and she just happened to have a time slot open at precisely when I needed it! So I took Mom down and we had a ball.
Her haircut is awesome! She looks so great. It's the best haircut I've ever seen on her. I'm reluctantly used to my daughters looking better than me but now my mother looks better than me, too! That is NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!!!! Well, anyway, I hope she can fix it easily, so that she's happy with it, and really hope she gets lots of compliments and loves it as much as I love it for her.
Tonight was silly sock night at Awana. Megan wore some socks with toes...like gloves...we laughed like crazy over that. Miranda wore some Santa-puppy socks with furry boots. Forgot to get photos. Ratz!
