We attended a family get-together with our in-laws under the excuse of a Super Bowl party. It was so good to see everybody; we don't do this nearly enough! Many of the folks watched the whole game, but the rest of us stayed upstairs gabbing. That's what I went for...I wasn't even sure who was playing and certainly didn't have a favorite to cheer for except maybe Arizona as it is warm and I know people who live there. Then I was told it was also the Steelers...I know people in Pennsylvania too. What to do...what to do? So I sat in the kitchen and gabbed. Meg and Nick went with Chris and me. I figured Meg would be bored to tears and Nick would have a ball watching the game. Well, don't ever pre-plan with kids. He wasn't really into the game (go figure that one), and they found more excitement pulling one of Megan's baby teeth. Hey, kids, I know: Let's go to somebody's really nice home and spend the whole evening bleeding all over their bathroom sink. Way to make an impression! But it finally came out and the Tooth Fairy visited that night and left half a fortune. So all's well.

Too funny!! I'm glad that you had fun chatting and that the kids enjoyed the tooth adventure!
Jon and I spent the whole game rooting for the commercials!
