LIVID!!!

Now I am a pretty mellow person. Or lazy, maybe. It takes a lot of energy to give a rip and get all excited about stuff. But this takes the cake!

It's those hideous, loathesome, insane, EVIL "energy-saving" light bulbs again!!! They just keep quitting on me! I don't know how many of the $@#%$^&*$ we bought, spending who-knows how much money on the overpriced #$^@*(&'s, trying to be good earth stewards and what do we get??? No light and dead light bulbs and certainly costing me a lot of energy!!! I doubt I have any that have lasted more than 2 months!

So today I drove 25 min. into town to recycle all the dead ones at the certified special recycle place. I waited in a huge line for awhile until I decided I will probably be sent to the lighting department. So I got out of line and went to the back of the store to the lighting department and hunted down a clerk, only to learn I had to go back to the front service desk. So I waited in line again.

When it was finally my turn, the gal looked at me like I'm an alien and, without changing facial expression, tells me, "That's $1.00 apiece." I say with a smile, "You mean I get $1.oo for bringing them in?" I leaped to that conclusion BECAUSE THAT SOUNDS REASONABLE!!!!

She says, looking impatient because I'm so dense, "No, you pay me. It says right here..."

This is a Satanic plot to drive me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
