Back to normal

Well, it's early but this week ought to be back to normal. Kids in school, feeling good, routine re-established...love that. Our family is very addictive to routine...three days in a row of doing something is suddenly a tradition! Always has been, probably always will be. "But Grammaaaaaaa, I ALWAYS get to sit on that side!!!!!!!!" "That's MYYYYY glass!!!!!!" You get the picture.

I'd tell ya what I did yesterday but I can't remember. The Old-Timers is setting in. Oh, wait...I remember now...after church I decided to go walk around in the mall, only to get some exercise, mind you. (This mall is circular in shape, so you walk the perimeter. Trouble with that is, you get half-way around and wear out...tough! Which is what I did. I began wondering if 911 would accept a call to come take me to my car.)

Well anyway, it's NOT MY FAULT...there are something like FIVE childrens' stores in there! "I'll go in just this one", turned into four bags an hour or so later. When I hit my "poop out" point, I had to go into the next childrens' store just to rest. I remembered, however, the chiropractor telling me not to carry my heavy purse over one shoulder, so as not to unbalance my spine, so I carried it in one hand and the bags in the other hand. I always try to follow doctor's orders.

The other really smart thing I did was remember seeing all baby Luke's massive wardrobe the other day at his house and so I RESTRAINED myself from buying any baby clothes. See how good I am? And so the trip around the mall was nice although expensive, and I was pretty amazed I could do the whole thing in really comfy new shoes. Things are looking up.
