New Day

I think the kid is tired of being in bed (sick)...she got up 30 min. early and put on her new sweats outfit. She must have overheard me saying I was sending her to school today even if she had to wear a bucket strapped around her neck. Actually, neither kid was as sick as what I'm hearing other families have been.

I was surprised with a beautiful hand-made card in the mail yesterday that warmed my heart. Thank you, friend. I don't have the time and space to devote to all the card-making I would like to do, but sure enjoy others' creations.

Oh, and the pain I've been whining about lately...almost gone. The new Memory Foam mattress pad seems to be doing the trick. Now the whining you hear will be from my wallet, but not from me!
