Not much happening. I managed to survive the 4th of July and Warren's birthday, but it was a pretty sad week. My daughters were great and helped a lot. They came over and we found some letters I had written to a girlfriend when we were in high school and just dating. She saved them and sent them to me a decade later. Chris & Jill had a good time reading all that gushy, flowery 15-year-old goopy stuff about how wonderful their dad was, asking questions and teasing me unmercifully. It made us laugh a lot and cry a little, and was a good way to remember how amazing he was.
There are many happy adults around here tonight. Miranda FINALLY started allowing the nice little neighbor boy into her space and discovered it's lots of fun having somebody to play with. When they have a playmate, it makes it SO much easier to watch them. This little guy is the brother of Megan's best friend who lives next door; all the kids are very close in age...great situation for the moms and grammas.

Sounds like God is sutstaining you all through this difficult past week.
I know that you are enjoying the children even though they are a lot of work.
