Took my car to GM Collision body shop, owned by a guy from church who is my neighbor. Mom came with me and I drove hers home and it overnight. I ended up keeping it three more days for a combination of reasons, partly mine. But we finally were able to pick up my finished car; the price was reasonable and the work is perfect. He showed me the part that was replaced, and it truly needed replacing.
Got a subpoena to go to court on the 30th. They've postponed this twice, could happen again. I think this bad dude has been cooling his heels in the pokey since March 7th.
Weather here has been so beautiful; it's changing, though. The last two days have been cold and foggy in the mornings. Please, God, not Fall already! Babysitting is doing it's job: keeping me busy and my mind occupied. But without the lake, this will get tedious right quick.
I've been reading a series of books Mom told me about. They are by Beverly Lewis, about life in an Amish community. Easy reading but addictive. The girls have been doing some reading, too, this summer. We're getting ready for all the birthdays and August 14th.
