Summer is Kid Time

Am being accompanied by kidlets often these days and we actually had some sunshine, so they went outdoors and played at manicures. Miranda got pink toes!

Took the girls to library day for story time. The newly-remodeled library is nice. Wish I had the money to just do cosmetic make-overs to my house every couple of years. ANYWAY, the girls had fun. Megan read her little heart out while Manda and I were learning about spiders. Ick! But now they are loving it and want to read! And go back often! Yippee!

Then we went to the mall. Won't be doing THAT every day of the week. Gram can't resist their puppy-eyed pleading for candy and Made-in-China junk.

Then Meg and I had a class at church in the evening. Her friends were there, along with a bag of Cheetos. I learned that many people love those little delicacies like I do! In my case, that's a good thing...one bag for 30 people is about 3 Cheetos apiece. :-)

Oh, by the way, Gramma has played all those instruments about 100 years ago, although you notice I didn't say "knows how to play" them.
