Bellevue

We have a parking lot in WA State called the 405. I had to drive to Bellevue for an appointment (about 22 miles out of my comfort zone) for the 2nd time in just a few days. But I did it. And found myself sitting in the 405 parking lot on the way home. Wow, Christina does that every day!

After making my exit, I stopped by to see some long-time friends and we went out to dinner together...very much just what I needed after that stressful afternoon. We even ate outdoors under an umbrella. It was HOT...we're not used to that here! I took a chance and ordered a hot crab and artichoke sandwich that was out-of-this-world fabulous. And I'm not itchy! Have had crab several times lately without reaction...maybe it's just shrimp I'm allergic to...please, God!

Isn't it terrible!? The absolute worst part of my job! Guess I probably can't convince you to come have lunch and shopping with me anytime soon, huh? It's not so bad mid day... for like a 20 minute window :o)

Good to hear you had some fun this evening... And that crab possibly isn't the itchy culprit!

405 traffic was one of the main reasons Jon and I moved!

405 really is horrible almost all day long, except for maybe that 20 minute window that Christina mentioned. But even that you can't count on...

From your house you could probably take hwy 18 to I-90 and miss some of that junk... if you ever have to go up to Bellevue again.
