Today I spent with my folks, helping Dad get to the hospital for a doctor appointment and CT scan. Finally felt like I actually did something worthwhile for them. He's in terrible pain from a broken shoulder; I wish there was something else we could do to help it.
Where I grew up, June is "summer", but I guess it's still spring here. Especially since I'm freezing. The kids don't notice it's only 60 and seem to be ready for the real summer. The flowers in the yard are gorgeous and I tried to take some photos. They aren't perfect, but might give you an idea of what a yard full of rhododendrons looks like.
