Rain and Flowers

I cleaned inside and out today and still have more to do...always more to do. Then in between rain showers, I went to the local nursery and got some more plants for my pots. After waiting for the rain to stop again, I planted them. Managed to get them all done except for the enormous hanging shade planter for my porch.

I'm having second thoughts about that. I've had it for years and it is so heavy, it could ruin my son in-law's back just trying to hang it. So I think I'll get a smaller one with a lighter, fresher mix of soil. When they all get going good, I'll take some photos for you to see.

Have been trying to post some YouTube videos in here, but whenever I do, they post in there three times or else give me an error message. Others can do it, so it must be something I'm doing wrong.

Tonight is the final American Idol night. Both Davids are fantastic, but I'd swear the judges were setting it up and manipulating the outcome they wanted by their comments. Seems to me they should have kept their mouths shut on this last competition. But they are the millionaires, not me. I guess they know what they are doing.

I like both contestants , but personally prefer David Cook cause he's rock. David A. is more ballads. I think he's going to be around for his entire life, like Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin...classic voice...but I would not buy a CD of his, where I would buy David Cook. My favorite is still Chris Daughtry, though. Mostly after this is over, I'll miss getting together with Chris to watch it.
