Oh, My! I had never been east of the Mississippi but I can no longer say that. I had no desire to see Florida but I can no longer say that, either! I just had the most fabulous experience...a unique adventure!
The Breakers just look it up and take the virtual tour. Chris and I were actually IN this place! After getting the first check for drinks and appetizers and nearly falling over in a faint, we decided we'd just whip out the plastic and live like we did this every week. And did we ever have a blast.
The day after getting there, my brand new camera battery died. I brought the wrong battery charger, and we absolutely could not find another one that would work. So there we were at the most beautiful resort we've ever seen, and neither of us had a camera except for our phones.
After a week of luxury, the final lucious treat was riding home in a stretch limo.

The night we arrived, there was a wedding going on. It truly WAS a fairy tale event. The reception was in one of the courtyards. The centerpieces were topiaries with tiny white lights. The bridesmaids wore strapless pewter gowns and the guests wore tuxes and white ties.
