Okay, so Mother's Day is over and I can now PLANT!!!!! My favorite time of the year! I also had to ask the lawn service to start working every week instead of every two weeks. Anyway, I decided I'm going to do my pots different this year...some perennials instead of all annuals. I'm tired of spending zillions every May on things that die in five months and have to be replaced each year. We'll see what happens. Also using herbs and vegetables and planting them one to a pot instead of multiple plants per container. The only reason I did that anyway was because I couldn't make up my mind what to get so I got them all!
Am still using the old standard annuals, just not so many of them. Geraniums and heliotrope and allysum...can't get along without those! My little Megan was home from school with a sore throat, but she helped me plant them and together we got everything I bought stuck in the dirt!
The weatherman says this weekend is supposed to be gorgeous! I'm not going to believe it until I see it, but this will be fabulous!
