Today is our wedding anniversary. We were always very conservative and didn't do anything extravegant...usually just went out for a nice dinner and expensive wine. So far, it is no more difficult than every other day of the past year.
I think I will do some cooking for the girls and just rest and relax. We had a good marriage and great life and I want to be celebrating my blessings and the many wonderful things that blossomed from it.
To excessively mourn what cannot be is sadly overlooking the wonderful blessings that are.

We are so happy that you have been able to overcome the last 9 months since the loss of our wonderful son-in-law. He provided for a great family and was loved by all of us. Of course you must know that our thoughts and prayers were with you all during this time and we love you very much.
