Spent today having the contractor here, beefing up my doors and locks. I reseached security system upgrades and then went shopping for storm doors. This drama is going to cost me some bucks. It's stuff we were going to do but never got around to it.
Chris has signed on to help one of those World Vision kids. Her little boy is in Kenya and the story breaks my heart. He's 7 1/2 years old and has never been to school because there is no school in his town. He drew her a little picture and a representative wrote her a letter about his family. It's very sweet and softens Gramma's cold-as-steel heart. When I'm done doing my selfish traveling and paying home repair bills, perhaps I'll get me a King Cavalier and "adopt" a kid like she's done.

Glad to hear about the upgrading you are doing. Sorry about the fact that it costs so much though. Isn't it great to know that God is our provider and that he promises to take care of all of our needs. Just as he obviously has been doing for you.
