Auburn Little League

Chris and I did another warehouse shopping trip for the Little League. She did really well...I didn't have to remove one box of wheat germ or yogurt or Green Tea Snackerinos from the flat cart. She even voluntarily threw in some potato chips and admitted that the pretzels didn't sell real well. That Chris is a fast learner.

When loading the stuff from the cars into the concession shack, we had to cross a patch of grass that was as wet and soupy with mud as it is down by my beach at this time of year. We made trip after trip through that mucky turf, carrying cases of Coke and orange soda and Ring Pops, because there was no way around it.

Upon leaving, Chris went the route towards home through Auburn, I drove the route through Kent. Each of us thought our way was better. We passed each other right when she was ready to turn onto Happy Valley road. I'd say the routes are just about the exact same distance and time!

So then I drove into my garage, sat there and read my car manual and finally learned how to set my car clock. That has been bugging me ever since we changed to daylight savings time. Then I went into the house and walked across the carpet into the kitchen...leaving perfect muddy shoe prints along my entire path. This memory thing of mine is getting to be a real pain.

Ewww. I hate messes like that.
It sounds like a very productive shopping trip though.

Wow, it seems like I was just adjusting your car's clock for fall time when we were driving to Laurece's cookie party - my how time flies! Of course, if I remember correctly you said not to bother since you'd just have to reset it again in no time. Guess I should've listened... sorry!
