Meg and I slept on the couch and in the recliner last night because I was so uncomfortable. I brought her home with me so someone would be here to call 911 when my sun burn allergy got to be too bad, but it never progressed that far. I am just swollen and puffy, but can still breathe.
Went to Mom & Dad's today and just chilled for a few hours. I guess even when one is 63 and ill or injured, they still want their mommy. At least I do. They like me and give me sympathy. :-)
Busy week ahead. Getting a Door-to-Door storage thingy for my stuff. I have to empty the entire downstairs so they can demolish what is here and put in new stuff. George Carlin did a bit about peoples' "stuff". I seem to remember it was kinda funny, and true.
You get stuff, so you have to get a house for your stuff, so you get more stuff and need a bigger house for your stuff. You want to go on a vacation, so you pack bags with your stuff. When you get there, you do side trips, so you pack smaller bags with some of your stuff. Then you go to souvenir shops and buy more stuff. And then you need more bags to hold it all and come back with more stuff than you brought.
That happened to us so often, we learned how to do it...you can mail the stuff you buy on vacation, so you don't have to carry so many bags of stuff through the airport. Then when you get home, you need to build a shed to hold all your new stuff. And when you croak, your kids get to fight over your stuff, so they can add it to their own stuff. And they say life isn't just about "stuff". Hmmmm!
