Typical kids

Got some cool shots of the little gals this week. So darn precious and sweet. And really smart, too. They can each memorize a Bible verse in just a few tries, earn their Awana bucks, and be back to tattling, kicking each other, and pulling the other one's hair in a matter of minutes.

I've resorted to asking them if they think Jesus ever took a whack at His little brother's head. That prompted a bunch of questions Gramma couldn't answer real well. I think I better read that latest book I got from the church library...something about raising kids right.

It was sure easier back in the stone age when it was okay to say, "Because I said so." "Starving kids" in some other part of the world doesn't work at all, "you'll catch your death" and "hope it doesn't freeze that way" are pretty lame, too.

The only thing that works is if I say, "it's awesome", and that is wiped out in a split second if the neighbor kid says it stinks, cause everybody knows the 8 year old next door is wayyyyyy smarter than Gram.

Cute pics! Love the one with 50 layers of clothes on. LOL
I love your philosophy in you blog header. That's exactly the kind of grandmother I plan to be when I have grandkids! :-)
