Grandparents' Day

Well, Grandparent’s Day was confusing as usual...actually, more so, with juggling three of them! My kids' other grandparents and I had to split up cause our schedules were a little different. It was fun and interesting, too. But something wonderful happened.

After visiting all the rooms, Nick and I got our photo taken together. Then I retrieved Megan and we did ours. Then I walked her back to the playground, got Miranda and went to do hers. So I was with the photographer for the 3rd time.

As we were preparing for the shot, the photographer enthusiastically told me that my family was her favorite this year. She said, “They are all three such beautiful children, but it’s the way they look at you! They obviously love you so much! The love in their eyes...The boy...we usually have to pose boys his age, but he just was so full of love, I didn’t even have to work with him.”

I almost cried. I told her, “Yeah, I know that look. We really do love each other.”

She said, “What a blessing to have all three of them like that.” I said, “Yes, it really is.”

And you all think I'm biased just because they're mine...
