Dinner party

Today my daughters and I spent the afternoon at Jill's friend & co-worker's place. We had a wonderful time eating like little piggies and getting to know her family. In particular, it was amazing talking with her 90 year-old mother.

I felt a bit like trailer trash as I sat and listened to the four brilliant MBA's discussing deep subjects and using words I can't pronounce, much less spell. Ha! But the meal was great...home-cooked soul food...and I finally tasted greens and candied yams the way they are supposed to be done! They were wonderful hosts and we all felt right at home.
