One area done

Finally I'm back. This week has been really busy with painting and cleaning. After 14 years, things sure get dusty around here. I'm so happy with the paint results, I could jump up and down. (And that's quite risky and dangerous for an old lady.) Here's my new look!

We had our first memorial service since I've been on the committee, at the church yesterday and it turned out very well, except we ended up with an awful lot of food. That's never a bad thing, I guess, but I'm sure we'll get better as we go at estimating. It was a very nice service and I got to talk to some friends I've not seen in years.

The kids are great. We finally found their "currency" and they haven't squabbled for days. Life is sure better when there isn't infighting and sabatoge amongst the troops.
