Funday Sunday

Little Luke better get used to getting lots of Mommy kisses.

I know, I know...it's gas. But HOW CUTE IS THIS???

I can't believe I caught this photo while he was smiling AND that it isn't blurry! Chris gets antsy if she has to go a full day without seeing little Luke. I'd say she's a goner. So we ran over there to take our Sunday peek before we went to the concert!

Yes, Gramma and Great Gramma went to a real live concert! We took Nick and Megan to the Chris Tomlin concert. As I was getting my things together, I asked Chris, "Do I need my headband and a cigarette lighter?" She laughed and said nope, now people hold up their cell phones. So I took my cell phone and held it up with everybody else!

So now...omg...the concert! It was wonderful. It was amazing. It only took me about 1/3 of the way through to quit thinking I was having a heart attack from the BOOM BOOM BOOM of the bass. I swear, my body was recoiling from the vibrations of the beat. It was sooo good, though...way more amazing than a CD. The whole place was filled to the rafters with Christians on their feet for the duration, praising God and singing along. It reminded me of what Papa must be getting to do every minute till eternity, singing praises with the other angels forever.

Oh, and by the way, it snowed another blizzard (well, it seemed like a blizzard) today. We locals are really getting sick of this! It was slushy, though...thick on the lawns and fence but didn't ice up. I actually went out with a giant squeegie and squeegied it off the sidewalk and steps. Last time it snowed, I tried to buy a snow shovel and the stores were out. I figured, "SURELY I won't be needing one until next winter. Jokes on me!

Between church and seeing the baby, Ward came to get me and take me down the hill to their neighbors' house for a card-making party. So I did church, card-making, baby, and then concert, all in the same day. I'm telling ya, that is a lot of activity in one day for a great-gramma.

I'm so thankful you caught that 'smile'! I swear I need to hire a photographer to just be ready 24/7 to catch every adorable expression!
I'm glad you liked the show too! I was excited to go but I'm sure he'll be back again soon.
