1) He texts me from the bus on his way home from school. That's usually when I'm trying to beat the other kids' bus home to my house, so I'm in my car. I won't answer if it rings or beeps or whatever while I'm driving. Papa always said I was a bad driver and I'm beginning to think he was right.
2) Texting while driving is begging for a ticket even if it doesn't cause an accident. Nick's brother, my grandson the cop, told me he wouldn't give little old white-haired grannies a ticket as long as they obeyed the law. See, nepitism just doesn't work in the cop biz around this family.
3) Nick will have to teach me how to text. I can read 'em but don't know how to initiate them.

That kid is a crazy texting machine isn't he!?! I love that he thinks of me and sends me little notes, but I told Ben's going to kick me off our plan and they'll have to add my phone to their texting :o)
(Oh yeah, and Ben hates writing tickets - you really have to be a punk to get one from him! Don't let him fool ya!)
Emily has been enjoying getting calls and texts from Nick! That has been real fun for them to stay in touch that way! He calls and texts Em every day. Hope he has unlimited texting.....
OMG - I am predicting a $700 phone bill!! We have threatened him within an inch of his life if he exceeds his text limit. Hopefully he will back off...
