Some years ago, a good friend and wonderful hostess made something yummy for breakfast when we were guests in their home. It was crescent rolls, split and spread with jelly and cream cheese, then soaked in an egg/milk mixture and cooked up like French Toast, served with syrup or powdered sugar sprinkled on top. I made some for Nick last time he was here. He liked them and requested them again. So today I took the ingredients to his house and made breakfast.
His mom made him a special treat of hot chocolate with a tall dome of whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Of course, you could guess that a 12 year old boy would go straight for the whipped cream, sans spoon. Dive in, Nick! The 2nd picture is what happens when somebody spots the boy's "bad manners" and taps his head into the whipped cream.
