I'm pretty sure she is not actually whistling, but she puts two fingers in her mouth and out comes this wolf whistle, as good as any man I ever heard. It's unbelievable. I sure can't do it. I think it's a squeal, but she actually does the raised and lowered tones. We just shake our heads in amazement at that kid.

The Whistler
The other day I was upstairs, Miranda was downstairs, and nobody else was in the house. All of a sudden I heard a wolf whistle! I nearly jumped out of my skin and ran to the stairs, fearing somebody was down there with Miranda. But when I got to her, nobody was here except us. The TV was off. So I asked, "Miranda, who whistled?" She said, "Me." I didn't believe her. I said, "You can't whistle...can you?" She said, "Yes." I said, "Show me." And she did. It blew me away! I asked, "Who taught you that?" She said, "I teached myself."

Yeah - I second that! You have to watch her do it at least 3 or 4 times before you get a bit of insight into what she is actually doing. She is an amazing kid! I too, don't think she is actually whistling, per se. But it is pretty authentic. Mom, you should film her doing it and post it.
oh my goodness! Yes film it so we can see! I've never been able to whistle. When I try its pethedic.
She was doing that Friday night while in the bathroom at Dad and Chris' house when she wanted Jill to come in... It was so funny!
I filmed it...she actually cooperated...but I couldn't get it posted. My computer is rebelling lately.
today on the ride from Jill's to Gramma's Miranda told me she wanted a new webkinz-like "build a [something]" thing that you do on the internet for Christmas. She said I should also get one for Nick. I can't remember the name of the toy. Apparently it's like a webkinz.
