Easy Day

Today was easy. The girls were so excited. Jill got off work early, met them here after school, and took them to Great Wolf Lodge. Miranda talked about it non-stop and Megan was a little angel. She came home and got right onto her homework with no suggestion from me. The only little bump in the road was we couldn't find "Bubbly", Miranda's newest Webkinz fish. She had to go without her, but even that wasn't enough to produce a meltdown on Great Wolf day!

So I got an early out, cleaned the house, did some laundry...(wow, I have a lot of laundry these days. Before kids, I was doing two small loads a week. Now...you wouldn't believe!) And I even sat down and watched a couple "Cops" shows! Now THAT'S what I call "free time!"

Wed. was Awana "Team Colors Day". Miranda's team is red so here's the outfit we chose.

Here is the car she and I have been working on for "Drive In Movie Night". They will be taking their cars to sit in while they watch a Veggie Tale movie and eat popcorn. Miranda is wanting to bring every Webkinz she owns. Megan's car is in progress in the garage. More about this big event next week!
