This weekend

Yes, we finally all got better, over the crud. Wiped the whole week off the calendar. So now we have twice the work to do this week! Housework and homework!

I had to buy a new keyboard. I was too sick to leave the house, so my mom got one for me and brought it to me. She held her breath and handed it to me out the car window, hoping not to get any germs. Thanks again, Mom! Once again, you saved the day! I won't confess what was wrong with the old one, but will give two clues: 1) Cookie crumbs and keyboards don't play well together, 2) The new one is encased in Saran Wrap, which actually works but aggrevates the kids.

Last night I was invited to game night at Chris'. Yours Truly is the Apples to Apples champion of the month so far! Am up for challenges, though, if any of you are brave enough to take me on. Come to think of it, I won at pool, too. I think Chris may have let me have that one, though.

Tonight I went to a girlfriend's house for dinner and met four of her very lovely church friends. We had a wonderful evening getting to know each other and talking about our mutual sorrows and blessings. It was really nice to do something social and have another beautiful home cooked meal.
