Awana night

Today was half a day at school, no kindergarten, and so in the afternoon I took the girls shopping to get Megan a few clothes. With her mom's permission, even! We went to Justice for Girls...and Gramma was thrilled to be getting some cute things for my perfect little Miss. However, Little Ms. P. was not cooperating. All she wanted was the gizmos and toys...wasn't a bit interested in the clothes! What a bummer! Way to ruin a shopping trip...not smart, girlfriend! Oh, well...saved me and her mom lots of money.

So then this evening was Awana night. She got her shirt and big book and Miranda got "wots of Awana bucks!" Miranda absolutely LOVES Awana. She talks about it all week long. We're in the middle of making their cardboard box "Drive-in Movie Night" cars, in prep for next week.

While they were at Awana, Jill took me out to the Grape Adventure and treated me to some food, wine, and we discussed the coming week for the girls. Then later we tried the newest Starbucks creation, a Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate. Absolutely decadent!!!! Not sure but I think it might not have been the diet version.
