Scavanger hunt

We have workmen here and can't leave. Bye bye hideous blue tile countertops!

The kids are bored out of their minds, so I set up a scavanger hunt for Megan (the others chose to do Wii). So this is Megan with her list of things to find. She found almost everything on the list! I told her she didn't have to actually bring in the live insect!

Am thinking about trying to find a sprinkler for them to run through. What did kids do in summer before there were Wii's and computers and...heaven forbid...TV's? I'm too old to remember. All I can recall about those days is sitting "in jail" while my brother and his friends went off to play cops and robbers. Hey, wait a minute...I think I was duped!
