Going away party

I had the most enjoyable day today! This morning, I met with one of my favorite friends and got to spend a few hours with good girl talk and then lunch. We easily share our mutual feelings and life situations, and it's been sooo long since we have made the opportunity to do so! Why do we let so much time go between being with people we love?

Then later, our family got together with Warren's family for a send-off for his amazing niece and nephew as they leave for some new adventures with college studies in foreign countries. We have always enjoyed each other's mutual successes with celebrations, and I am thrilled that we are still their family and included in the fun. These folks are the greatest! As I look at my girls and their cousins, it blows my mind how much they resemble each other, both in appearances and in personal qualities. Our family is truly blessed.
