Highlights of the week

At the craft store yesterday Megan found a silly elephant hat. We had a great time laughing!

Jamba Juice

Cuteness!

You never know what Miranda will do next. "Look, Gramma, I can do a handstand."

Typical week around our house. Silly kids being adorable, except for when they aren't. Sunshine and rain, cuteness and rivalry, carrots and candy...all in a day's excitement. Never a dull moment, however. Megan is the typical older child...brilliant, sweet, and thoughtful. Miranda is the typical Martian...brilliant, sweet, and unpredictable. Our lives would be dull and boring without this little one.

Miranda had her first play date with a little girlfriend from her class. OMG, she was in seventh Heaven. Soooo excited. She then got to go spend the evening and have a sleepover with her cherished and beloved auntie. When she got dropped off, we were all there and she informed us we could "go now."

I stayed for dinner and watched "Who Do You Think You Are?" with Nick. It's a genealogy show and is really interesting to me and he actually seemed to like it, too. We have a good time hanging out together. He's such a great kid...swells my heart. Smart, too...almost straight A's and a great athlete. We had a blast watching him and his dad play basketball together.

Last week was conference/report card week. They are all geniuses, of course. B's & A's...3's & 4's around. It's always fun to hear about these conferences when the reports come in! :-)
