Awards Assembly

There was a 2nd trimester awards assembly today. I love these things...am so proud of my grandkids! They are all smart little pups! Today they gave out three awards and Meg got every one of them.

There were the honors award, for academics achievement, the principal's award for handing in every assignment on time (and some other things), and the citizenship award for being fabulous (well, for being a good, helpful citizen)!

This is a really good school and plenty of kids qualified for one, two, or all three of the awards. I'm really pleased with the school, the teachers and principal (with whom my daughter went to high school), but most of all, I'm pleased with their choice of friends. All the kids who's names I've been hearing, and the girlfriends she's visited and hosted here were there getting awards. She's apparently making good choices in habits and friendships.
