Ever tried frozen custard?

While back in the midwest, we discovered frozen custard. I'd never heard of it, but my! oh! my!!! Soooo yummy! Well after contacting my local ice cream expert, I learned that we finally have one here within driving distance. It's only about 20 miles away...worth a little jaunt through the countryside. Last night my expert and her family brought me along for a trip to test out the latest flavor of the day. It was Butterfinger...really worth the drive.

So far I can recommend the vanilla (amazing), chocolate, Butterfinger, Mocha, and Creamsicle. Stay tuned for a report on the Malted Milk Ball and Chocolate Cheesecake. I have to preview these so I know they are good enough for my grandchildren, of course. It's not for me, you know! :-)

Trust me, this stuff is even better than ice cream. I recommend everyone go try their product!
